We’ve gathered a few questions that are commonly asked by our clients. If you are still unable to find the answer you’re looking for, contact us.

Explore our Plan an Event section or browse our venues. If you already have an idea about your event complete a Request a Quote and you will be contacted by an event coordinator. In our venues we coordinate the room set-up, guest parking, AV/media needs,rentals, florals,and catering services. Let us take the stress out of event planning so you can focus on the content of your presentation or event.

Although an alumni-discount is not offered, our meeting rooms and catering packages are priced competitively. We will work with you to identify what we can do within your budget

Some of our meeting rooms are offered at a discounted rate for registered student organizations in good standing. Please contact us for more information on our rates.

Yes. And congratulations on your engagement! We have two great venues for weddings/receptions that range from more formal and modern to more casual. We are happy to host your wedding ceremony and reception, or reception only. Call us to schedule your tour and receive more information about how we can help you with your special day.

Most of our meeting spaces do have WI-FI access on the UCR Wi-Fi network that is open to UCR students, staff and faculty. If you need Wi-Fi, please let your event coordinator know, so we can select the right meeting room for you. Additionally, if your guests include non-UCR affiliated attendees, we provide wireless guest codes upon request.

UCR has three exclusive caterers to provide anything you need: Citrus Grove Catering, HUB2Go and UCR Subway Caters. Because of this, no outside food is permitted in any of our meeting rooms.

You are allowed to take non-perishable items, such as baked goods, with you, but we do not provide to-go boxes. Because we are concerned about food safety, we do not recommend removal of potentially hazardous foods, as they have a short expiration time and may become unsafe for consumption. Unserved surplus food is donated to Inland Harvest, a local nonprofit food bank that helps feed community members in need.

Yes. The best venue for this is The Barn. Speak with an event coordinator regarding how you can have your entertainment of choice today.

Yes. We do have sales minimums for both Saturdays and Sundays. Speak with an event coordinator regarding your event date and catering needs.

Your event coordinator will recommend the most conveniently located parking lot for your meeting room and coordinate your pedestrian signage and parking attendant needs for you. Pricing varies by event type and guests. Speak with an event coordinator for more details.

Our rooms are equipped with standard tables and chairs. Additional customization options are available and arranged by your event coordinator for an additional fee.

Yes. We allow beer and wine to be served at the Alumni & Visitors Center and The Barn. Beer and wine must be provided by the event host and there is no corkage fee! The campus does have a permission-to-serve process that requires a lead-time of 20 business days.

Most of our meeting spaces are equipped with projectors and screens. Our larger meeting spaces have either computer sound or full microphone capabilities. If the meeting space you have chosen is not equipped, we will coordinate your AV needs.
